Nine Months of Graham
Graham, I am having a hard time believing that you are already 9 months old. You have officially been out of the womb for 40 weeks. You currently weighs 18 lbs 6 oz. This month you flew back to Florida and went to Boca Grande (without me) for the first time. You and I spent four whole days apart for the first time. I thought I would have to stop nursing you completely because of this but surprisingly you are still able to nurse when you wake up in the morning and before you go to sleep for the night. Your daddy also went out of town for work for 5 whole days. You were a trooper through all those circumstances. After our various trips away from you we all took a trip to Miami. This month we started attending MyGym and baby story time at our local library. You enjoy eating anything and everything and some of your current favorites include meatballs, hummus, broccoli soup, peas, and refried beans. You have mastered your ability to climb up stairs, lift yourself to standing, lower yourself (Not very graceful with this one,) briefly cruise the furniture, transition from crawling to sitting, and escape from your high chair. You love to climb everything. You still hate having your diaper changed. you love swimming in the pool and ocean. You love eating sand, grass, and paper. This month you started to use mama and dada purposefully as well as mimicking our inflections and funny noises. You have attempted to say “woah,” “mmmm,” and “hey!” You enjoy practicing your words and pointing to things you want to touch or learn more about. You and Finn enjoy playing together (finally.) You are obsessed with your new red convertible car which you ride in during walks, Sanrio Keroppi toy, and throwing your balls. You are the best and coolest human and I love you so so much.
