Graham at Ten Months
Leading up to 10 months we were able to see a baby beginning to transition into a toddler. You continued to breastfeed up until a few days before you turned 10 months where you very clearly indicated you were no longer interested. This made me somewhat sad at first but I felt it was good a experience teaching me that I need to respect your ability to make certain decisions for yourself (haha.) Throughout the week we attend MyGym, story time at the library, and music class. You enjoy going to the park next to grandma and grandpa’s house, riding in your “little tikes” red car (while holding Finn’s lease,) swimming in your pool, going to the splash pad, eating sand at the beach, and playing at your house with friends. You eat anything and everything (for now.) You tolerate car rides. Recently you began to crawl on your hands and knees but will still transition into army crawl position when you are trying to crawl somewhere fast. You love climbing. You climb on the couch, hang from the chairs, and attempt to sneak up the stairs way too often. You have zero interest in walking and I’m in no hurry for you to start so take all the time you need. You definitely like to communicate and started pointing in order to indicate your needs and show us what you’re interested in. You also clap your hands and imitate silly noises. I love watching you grow but wish you could stay a cute little tiny baby forever. Happy 10 months, buddy boy!
